From where I stand locked in my walled off mind Inside my head I can't seem to break free I try to speak but my voice I can't find I wish I could show what I feel inside of me I understand though I do no show it Knowledge, I have, can not be seen by you I just wish I could say I know it Ev'n though I need help o tie my own shoe But don't despair my life is full of light Though I have my times of anger and strife Ev'n when at time I yell and scream and fight You are the light that brightens up my life This much that I am able to confess This much upon you I want to impress.
